Though Canadian singer Justin Bieber is just 19 years
old, he has reportedly claimed that he's going to
retire next year.
He said, "After the new album, I'm actually retiring
man. I'm retiring.
"I think I'm probably going to quit music."
He made his remarks to a host at Power 106 in Los
Angeles on Tuesday – so sayeth the Mirror – before
adding, "I want to grow as an artist and I'm taking a
step out.
"I want my music to mature."
But alas, it seems you'll have to put down those
party poppers and stop thanking the invisible powers
that be upstairs for making dreams come true as the
article adds, "But some insiders say it's all a big fat,
funny quite terrible joke."
Sigh.
Meanwhile, it's been reported by US entertainment
and gossip website TMZ that there was something of
a fracas at Bieber's home this week when paramedics
were called to attend to a young girl who'd
apparently "passed out" during a party hosted by the
Heartbreaker singer.
Of that, the Mirror states, "A 911 call was made to
the emergency services and ambulances were
dispatched at around 3:00am after the 20-year-old
was found unconscious at the house."
An unnamed source said, "A member of the singer's
security team called 911.
"The girl is fine. The call was made out of caution.
She ate some food and drank some water and was
fine."
Apparently, when paramedics arrived, they were told
that one of the guests at the bash would take the girl
to a private hospital for treatment, however, she
refused and was later taken home.
That incident is just one of many making headlines
for Bieber this year for primarily the wrong reasons…
The singer was accused of spitting at fans, which he
denied, and there was also some suggestion that
he'd been thrown out of several clubs in the States
after his behaviour was deemed unacceptable, but
again, his reps denied everything.
Here's a news report about Bieber…
