According to BlackBerry, In Sub-Saharan Africa, BlackBerry is in
partnership with Samsung. BBM won't be available to iPhone and
Android users in Africa right away. Only those having a Samsung
Android phone that is Android 4.0 and above can get the BBM app
using the Samsung Application Store.
Samsung is going to have this exclusivity from the 22nd of
October to the 24th of October this year. BBM will become
available to all Android and iPhone users in Africa on October
25th. So, you'll have to wait.
However, you can get the BBM on your iPhone right away. If you
have a US iTunes account, visit the US App Store and get BBM
for iPhone now. But there's no guarantee you'll be able to use it
once you download it. BlackBerry is making people wait in line and
this is already irking some people.
